I'm Dr. Melissa Waxman, a psychologist specializing in helping children and teens overcome anxiety and OCD. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP), I partner with families to build confidence, manage worry, and help young people get back to the things they love.

Parenting a child with anxiety or OCD can feel overwhelming. I work with families to understand what's happening, learn strategies to support their child effectively, and reduce the stress these challenges bring to the whole family.
School Consultation & Collaboration
When school challenges affect learning, behavior, or emotional well-being, I partner with parents, teachers, and service providers to bridge clinical and academic needs and help each child get the individualized support they need.
